Deaths: Bill Hensel, a former resident, passed away July 10, 2010. Cards may be sent to his brother Bob and Phyllis at the northern address in the directory.
Illness: Marion Seile is home from the hospital and doing fairly well. Cards may be sent to her c/o Robert Douskey at the local address in the directory.
John Cox had a heart valve replacement and double bypass. He is coming along well. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Polly Verrier fell and broke her ankle. She has a plate and screws in the ankle and is now in rehab. Cards may be sent to her at the northern address in the directory.
Bob Amick had good news from his doctor. His liver and lymph nodes are clear, there is no malignancy there. He will see his oncologist to determine if further treatment, if any, is required following the colon surgery.
Kaye Smith was taken to Winter Haven Hospital with nausea, vomiting, and a high fever. She will return to the Life Care Center as soon as possible.

Announcements: Our water level this morning is 101 feet 3 and 1/4 inches. Last Week our water level was 101 feet 2 and 1/4 inches. We went up 1 inch from last week.
Travel: A good chance to visit the Panama Canal without the expense of a “Panama Canal Cruise".
It's on the Carnival Freedom, which leaves port out of Fort Lauderdale, 8 days with 4 full days at sea. Ports of Call: Cozumel, Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, and Panama. SLR Church: July 14 at 6PM. An Ice Cream social. Bring your bowl and spoon and make your own sundae.
Library: The library is open on Monday's right after Koffee Klatch from 10AM to 12 PM.
Post Office: Summer hours are 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
Grannies Attic: Open all summer on Mondays from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Name Tag: Please wear it if you have one.
Dominoes: For anyone that would like to play, they meet in the Annex on Wednesday at 1PM. This is Mexican train dominoes. Contact Martha Woodruff for more information.
Potluck: Every Friday, with Happy Hour at 4PM and dinner at 5PM. Please bring a generous dish to pass.
Lending Locker: Bruce and Nancy Balch, Al and Donna Luchenbill have offered to help during the summer.
Internet Connection: It is being worked on. A lot of work has been done, with a lot more to do.

Ken and John Crummey have gone through all the common buildings and noted things that need to be fixed; ie, painting, fixing water leaks, etc. Items have been prioritized and will be done in the order of importance.
