Managers' Report:Good Morning, I hope you have all had a great Weekend.
Maintenance has begun trimming and clearing moss from the trees on the common properties.
There is a manhole that services the lake drainage the county installed after the flood that is broken open. It is outside of our fence line however it does affect our drainage from the lake. The county has roped off the manhole so no one wanders close and falls in, however it will be 2 weeks before they repair it. They may need to go through our fence to access it for repairs, however if they do, they will replace any portion of fence they need to remove at their expense.
Owners across the lake from the blower room at the sewer plant started complaining about noise after we cleared the brush between the lake and the blower room. Ray installed a fence and blocked off the rear window on the sewer plant blower room to muffle the noise it produces.
A pleasant and unexpected development. The property across the lake from the beach house on the eastern shore of Saddlebag Lake that the association owns has never had land access. The easement that is supposed to be used for access goes right through 2 houses. To correct this the county is moving the easement from its current position to a point between two properties that we will actually be able to use to access the association land from Stembridge Road. So if the association wishes to use that property in the future it will now be accessible from land.
Thank you and have a Great week!
