Managers' Report:Hello and good morning everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend!
Last week an oak tree was removed by the owner at 35 Red Quill Circle to make room for a new home being placed on the lot. Some people have voiced their concerns about removing healthy trees from the resort. I can assure you the Board and I feel the same way, and every request that comes through to remove a tree is looked at carefully for other options. In the case a tree does need to be removed another tree is replanted. Such is the case with 35 Red Quill. I met with the owner, spoke with the contractor who is bringing the home in to explore any options that could save the tree and still allow room for the home the owner is purchasing and unfortunately to accommodate for the home the tree had to be removed.
Robert Hill is processing the application for the permits for the internet towers. He has been to the Polk county building department and filed the application under his license. Polk County has since requested a letter of commencement which I will be taking to Robert this afternoon. That will satisfy everything the county has requested. I will update further next week.
There is a crack on the stand alone tennis court I have contacted Varsity courts about. I sent Dennis pictures along with the dimensions of the crack. Minor cracking is to be expected over time and usually just cosmetic. The one on the stand alone court being about 1/16" wide will need to be filled and monitored to make sure there is no further cracking.
Thank you and have a Great week!
