Managers' Report: Good Morning, I hope you have all had a great Weekend.
Maintenance has been working on painting the exterior of the clubhouse, please keep an eye out for coned off areas as they will have wet paint.
The garden club working with John Plat jr has finished trimming the plants in the common areas. With all the new plants being planted some owners have asked questions regarding watering restrictions and concern with watering the new plants the garden club had planted. The county grades water shortage in phases, and even with how dry it has been we are still in "phase 1". Phase 1 allows for no restrictions on new plants for 30 days. According to "Super Dave" from the Garden club we need 2 weeks of watering our new plants every day for them to properly take hold before moving to our regular schedule.
I've also had many owners who have asked about burning restrictions. I posted a popup on the website and have been referring people with questions to the website for specifics. It has a direct link to Polk county burn restrictions, and I also included the local fire department number for any immediate questions or concerns.
The burn ban includes, but not limited to:
3. Unpermitted controlled burns
4. Burning of yard and household trash
5. Burning of construction debris
6. Burning of organic debris
7. Igniting of fireworks
8. Noncommercial burning of material other than for religious or ceremonial purposes which is not contained in a barbecue grill or barbecue pit and the total fuel area does not exceed 3 feet in diameter and 2 feet in height.
For more specific questions please call the local fire department at (863) 678-4017.
Thank you and have a Great week!
