Caryll Ann Fox of Silversides died of cancer on Tuesday, May 4th in London, Ontario. Cards may be sent to her sister Linda Crawford at her northern address in the directory.
Aldine Benecke had successful spinal surgery on Tuesday, May 4th. She was released from the hospital last Friday and is doing well. She is at a facility very near their home for rehab. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Merilyn Adler is home from the hospital following a lengthy stay with a collapsed lung. She is having difficulty breathing and will see her doctor today. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Marv and Helen Osborne want the everyone for their cards, prayers, calls and kind thoughts . Marv is doing much better.
Carol Haines thanks all the Saddlebaggers for the support and words of kindness on the passing of her mother Mildred Haines. Carol's mom and dad loved living in Saddlebag and Carol feels blessed to consider Saddlebag her “first" Lake Wales home.
Judy Luko thanks everyone for their cards, phone calls, and expressions of concern. She has been notified that there is no cancer. Very good news.

Our water level this morning is 100 feet and 2 ½ inches. Last Week our water level was 100 feet 3 ½ inches. This is 1 inch down from last week.
Library: The library is open on Monday's right after Koffee Klatch.
Post Office: Summer hours are 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
Grannies Attic: Open all summer on Mondays from 8 AM to 4 PM. Contact Tomi Blackburn at 696-3693 for more information.

Dominoes: For anyone that would like to play, they meet in the Annex on Wednesday at 1PM. This is Mexican train dominoes. Contact Martha Woodruff for more information.
Memorial Day: May 31, Happy Hour at 4PM, Dinner at 5PM, contact Madeline Conway at 696-1922 for more information.
Potluck: Every Friday, with Happy Hour at 4PM and dinner at 5PM. Bring a generous dish to pass.
Most of the questions this morning were about the pool. Ken stated that we are losing about 2000 gallons of water per day, but he has been assured by the county that is not a problem.
