Bill Purdy had the second heart stint put in this past week. An ultrasound showed that Bill had several nodules in his liver and an MRI determined they were malignant. He will have chemo once a week for six months. Specialists have told Bill that this type of treatment would have a good chance of being successful. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Stu and Eileen White's daughter Laura has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of lymphoma. Cards may be sent to Laura at Stu and Eileen's northern address in the directory.
Aldine Benecke is receiving therapy twice a day at a rehab facility near home. She is doing very well following spinal surgery. Aldine and Harry wish to thank all for the many cards received.
Ed Lee will have rotator cuff surgery this coming Thursday at Lake Wales Medical Center.
Dottie McNea will see a specialist this time for the cancer spot on her forehead. Her doctor told her the treatment she received last year for the spots on her head didn't do much good.*
