Sammie Siegfried is home from Lake Wales Hospital and is feeling better. She had severe abdominal inflammation apparently caused from steroids and aspirin. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
LaVerne Junge was transferred from Lake Wales Hospital where she was admitted following a fall in her home. She is now at the Grove nursing home for therapy. She is in room 210-B. Cards may be sent to her there or to the local address in the directory.
Cecil Harner will be transferred from Lake Wales Hospital back to the Grove Nursing Home. He thinks he will be transferred tomorrow. Cards may be sent to him at the Grove or to the local address in the directory. The caretaker for Lois will see that he gets those cards.
Dick Shimp will see a radiologist today to determine a course of action for the bladder tumor. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Mary Paulin is home from the hospital where she was treated for a gastric problem. She is on medication and will see her doctor this week. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
John Groth is home from the hospital following admission for what was thought to be a heart attack. Tests showed that was not the case and he was released with medication. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Carol Roeschen, Mac's wife, is home from the hospital following her 9th back surgery. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Lorraine Kobierecki is having a procedure done today to deaden a nerve in her spine. This should alleviate her back pain and Darrell Slagle will see an eye doctor this afternoon for blurred vision. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
We received a lovely Thank You from Betty Brunty's daughter, Dawn Holmquist for all the kindness Saddlebaggers gave Betty. Many of the cards she received were read to her in the hospital and greatly appreciated as was the lovely memorial service.
Paul Garrison wished to thank all the Saddlebaggers who sent birthday cards to him at the Groves. Paul has been there for quite some time and really appreciated the thoughtfulness of Saddlebaggers.

The water level this morning is 98' 3". We received a little rain this morning, but, not enough to make a difference. . Everyone keep in mind that our water level should be about 102' above sea level.

Garbage Pickup: Trash Taxi does this on Tuesday and Friday. You have to have a blue reflector by your stump so they can recognize who is here and who is not.

Stump Paint: Bob Douskey, 109 Saddlebag Trail, has some paint leftover after buying a gallon.
