Managers' Report:Koffee Klatch update 05-20-2013
The annex and site work are moving along as scheduled. The interior of the building has been painted. The sidewalks and handicap ramp are being formed and poured. The site has been cleared of trees and they are working on the drain swales.
They have begun work on the 5 manholes in need of repair Friday. They sealed/repaired all of the leaks. The epoxy will be applied next Friday.
I have checked with the County concerning the area on which the SLOA sign stands out on SR 60 as to how large an area SLOA actually owns in relation to the sign. It is a plot of .06 acres and is deeper (from north to south) than the width (from east to west). I am still waiting to hear back from the lady who helped me as to the actual mapping of the site so we can mark it off. So, for the individuals or clubs who are waiting for the information I hope to have it this week.
Hurst Pest Control did the first building application. They will return this week to do the grounds.
The unit on 20 Beaverkill has been removed. The fill dirt has been relinquished to the Association and will be removed and deposited in the maintenance area this week. I don't know what day.
The auditors have begun the year end audit on today.
The most recent items being sent to the ownership concerning the governing documents are not the product of the SLOA attorneys, the Board, or the Association. The ownership will be notified as to the date of an open "special" meeting to discuss and address this timely issue, the information from the Attorneys, and the Board's ultimate decision going forward.
Gator Waste notified me today of their schedule for the week of May 27 (Memorial Day). They will be delayed one day on their pick ups. Instead of picking up household waste on Tuesday and Friday they will pick up on Wednesday and Saturday that week. Lawn waste will also be picked up on Saturday. We do not have the recycle bins as of yet.
The SLOA office will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day.
Thanks so much to all of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Hope you all have a great weekend!!
