Managers' Report: Good morning
Julian Coto, our new water engineer, has submitted our 2013 Annual Water Report to SWFWMD.
He is also working in conjunction with LMK Pipe Renewal on scheduling the sewer lateral repairs and another proposal to do the north waste plant rehabilitation.
Lavon, from Foot Painting, painted the men's and ladies restrooms in the recreation building, all but the rear wall. No need to paint that portion since it will be torn out and replaced soon.
He also painted and sealed the floor in the walk in cooler and freezer.
We are getting a good response from owners on the stump letters sent out recently and would like to thank those who are taking care of their stumps. Bear in mind, that once the 14 day period to comply is up regarding the letters sent, and the stumps have not been taken care of, maintenance must then work order the addresses to be done and it does take time. Also, many owners have made arrangements through the office to take care of their stumps through other means within a certain time frame.
The SLOA audit begins on Tuesday, May 27. Tanisha and the auditors will be on site for the 3 day period this week.
Maintenance removed the old sediment tank from the old pool vac pac. It was no longer needed as it is built in to the newer filtration system.
The area under and surrounding the old tank was beginning to give way as a depression was forming under it. This is in the pool pit area behind the pool storage building. The area was repaired and the concrete poured, as well as the sidewalk tied in from the walkway behind Memorial Hall to the pool deck gate.
We are still waiting for a revised bid from one of the tennis court contractors in order to continue moving forward on that project.
Still waiting for the Memorial Hall divider.
The SLOA office will be closed today in observance of Memorial Day and our fallen soldiers. Enjoy your festivities!
