Sam Sturms had surgery last week and is now home. The pathology report showed stage 2 malignancy of the growth removed, but it did not invade the bladder. However, Sam will see his doctor in two weeks,and if he is
sufficiently healed, Sam will start chemo for six weeks at weekly intervals. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Paul Garrison is home from Lake Wales Hospital and is doing well.
Linda Kiel had the pin/plate removed from her foot last week. She had tripped and broken her foot last year.
Jean Woodcock was taken to Lake Wales Hospital last Monday with extremely high blood pressure. She is home now. She is not listed in the directory, but the mailing address is 5375 Saddlebag Lake Rd.
Maryann King had eye surgery in Miami last week. She received a good report - no cancer!
Cynthia Garcia had carpal tunnel and trigger finger surgery this past week.
D'Nel Chafin will have knee surgery this week. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Jeanne Bealer is home now. She has lung cancer and cards would be very much appreciated. Sent them to the local address in the directory.
Charlie Ronchetti will have carpal tunnel surgery on June 7th.
Ed Clark is in Winter Haven Hospital, room 365. He will undergo several tests to determine what type of treatment he will receive. Cards may be sent to him at the local address in the directory.
Ed Weirauch fell down the basement stairs while visiting his son. He is in Akron General Medical Ctr. in Ohio. Ed fractured his skull and has multiple contusions on his face. A CAT scan will be done tomorrow. When he is released he will go back to his son's house to recuperate. Cards may be sent to him in care of his son John Weirauch, 465 North Lyman St.,Wadsworth, Ohio 44281.

The water level this morning is 100 feet 1 inch, which is 2 1/2 inches less than last week. The lake level is now 7 feet 9 3/4 inches down from the high water level we experienced in 2005. We are still in need of some rain, which we hope will start sometime in June. More information can be found on the Website.

The Garden Club has finished their work for the Summer.
We have a new exercise room. It is located behind the office building. It seems there was a need for a new exercise bike, so the Summer Committee bought one. If you get a chance, you might like to try it on for size.
