Jean Woodcock was taken back to Lake Wales Hospital this past week with lung problems. She feels that she may have a reaction to mold. She is having her home treated with ozone. Jean may be able to come home today if the doctor releases her and if she is able to return to her home. Her mailing address is 5375 Saddlebag Lake Rd.
Ed Weirauch is feeling pretty good. The abrasions and gash on his head are healing well. He is up and around and even went to church yesterday. Ed will have his third CAT scan next Friday to determine how much the air in his skull has been reduced. He will not be able to fly home until the air is gone. The doctors don't want to take any chances with him being in a pressurized plane. Ed's cell phone number where he can be reached is (863) 585-8740. Cards may be sent to him at his son John's home. That address is 465 North Lyman St., Wadsworth, Ohio 44281.
D'Nel Chafin had knee surgery last Tuesday and is doing Ok. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Ed Clark is home from Winter Haven Hospital. His medications have been changed. There are still some health concerns and there will be a few more tests performed. Cards may be sent to him at the local address in the directory. Ed and Helen were at Koffee Klatch this morning.

He also had a flare up of kidney failure, and if that wasn't bad enough,he had a heart attack while in the hospital. Cards may be sent to him in care of Doris at the local address in the directory.
Larry and Lori Garcia reported that Darrell Bierlein's bone marrow is clear which is good, the lymphoma he has is treatable with chemotherapy. His chemo starts around June 5 and will be finished the first week of September. Long term remission is very likely and he seems to be handling the chemo well. We have a new exercise room. It is located behind the office building. It seems there was a need for a new exercise bike, so the Summer Committee bought one. If you get a chance, you might like to try it on for size.
We had a guest this week. Mr. Dick Fearnow, from the office of Seniors VS Crime office, which is part of the Polk County Sheriffs Office. Mr. Fearnow told us of a number cases where seniors have been scammed. His office deals mainly with civil cases, but in criminal cases his office refers cases to the appropriate police agency. His office is also a project of the Attorney Generals Office. If you have been or know of someone who has been scammed, within Polk County, you can contact his office at 863-413-3000 or email at email@example.com.
Until next week, Best Wishes, and God Bless. Anyone having any comments, observations, or email address changes, please contact Bob Trombley at firstname.lastname@example.org or Russ Sauer at email@example.com .
