Ken Hall's son-in-law, Richard Hill Jr. died yesterday of pancreatic cancer. Cards may be sent to Ken at the local address in the directory and to his daughter, Jennifer Hill at 89 East Broad St., Hopewell, NJ 08525.
Merilyn Adler was moved from the Dove Nursing Home back to Lake Wales Medical Center. She has a blood clot in her lung. At this time she is in room 357, bed 1, but will be coming home this week on hospice. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Mickey Hreha is home from the hospital where he was admitted with pneumonia. He is using a nebulator and being treated with antibiotics. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
It's good to see Leo Desrosiers here today. He had been in the hospital where test showed a vitamin B12 deficiency. He received a shot and will have more once he gets back home to MA.
Jim Ewing is home from the hospital. He had a heart attack and also a stroke while traveling home. I will report a mailing address next Monday at Koffee Klatch.

Our water level this morning is100 feet 5 and ¾ inches. Last Week our water level was 100 feet 3 and ¾ inches. Lake level is up 2 inches from last week.
Travel: A good chance to visit the Panama Canal without the expense of a “Panama Canal Cruise".
It's on the Carnival Freedom, which leaves port out of Fort Lauderdale, 8 days with 4 full days at sea. Ports of Call: Coxumel, Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, and Panama. Great if you want to really relax! I wasn't going to plan anything for 2011, but this one looks great! February 12-20. For further info, contact me at
Library: The library is open on Monday's right after Koffee Klatch from 10AM to 12 PM.
Post Office: Summer hours are 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

Potluck: Every Friday, with Happy Hour at 4PM and dinner at 5PM. Please bring a generous dish to pass.
Lending Locker: Bruce and Nancy Balch, Al and Donna Luchenbill have offered to help during the Summer.
Lake Wales Wireless: LWW has gone out of business. Bob Staib Jr. has been working the telephone to figure how to get some internet hookup here at SLR.
We video taped today's program for all to see. A complete presentation on the High Speed Wireless situation will be emailed separately to the Koffee Klatch email list later today. This email will contain a link to a page on our website that will show the meeting recording to all interested parties.
Manager Report: Bud Stambaugh and our management company are working on the pool. No time or dates yet to get it done. The shuffleboard courts have been completed. Ken is looking to relocate the recycle bin, so as not to get in the way of the golf driving range.
