Illness: Bill Zulauf is in Winter Haven Hospital with pneumonia. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Bill Purdy is now taking chemo pills orally instead of chemo administered through a port. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Max Blackburn is home from the hospital where he received three pints of blood for anemia. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Roy Bade has been in and out of the hospital in MI. The doctors don't know what the problem is and Roy is back in the hospital for more tests. Cards may sent to the northern address in the directory.
Mickey Hreha was taken to Lake Wales Medical Center with chest pains. An EKG was fine, so the doctors are running tests. Claire has a nasty cold. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
For those of you who wish to send a card to Jim Ewing, the address is: C/O Andy Todoscuik, 1076 E. Parks Rd, St. Johns, MI, 48879. Jim suffered a heart attack followed by a stroke.

Our water level this morning is 100 feet 4 and ¾ inches. Last Week our water level was 100 feet 5 and ¾ inches. The lake level is down 1 inch from last week.
Travel: A good chance to visit the Panama Canal without the expense of a “Panama Canal Cruise".
It's on the Carnival Freedom, which leaves port out of Fort Lauderdale, 8 days with 4 full days at sea. Ports of Call: Cozumel, Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, and Panama. Great if you want to really relax! I wasn't going to plan anything for 2011, but this one looks great! February 12-20. For further info, contact me at
Library: The library is open on Monday's right after Koffee Klatch from 10AM to 12 PM.
Post Office: Summer hours are 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
Grannies Attic: Open all summer on Mondays from 8 AM to 4 PM. Contact Tomi Blackburn at 696-3693 for more information.

Dominoes: For anyone that would like to play, they meet in the Annex on Wednesday at 1PM. This is Mexican train dominoes. Contact Martha Woodruff for more information.
Potluck: Every Friday, with Happy Hour at 4PM and dinner at 5PM. Please bring a generous dish to pass.
Lending Locker: Bruce and Nancy Balch, Al and Donna Luchenbill have offered to help during the summer.

Manager Report: A contract has been signed to have our recycle container picked up twice a week. If you are out and about the resort, please keep your eyes and ears open. In the last week, 2 outboard motors has been stolen.
