Let's start out with the good news! Mary Deboer got her report back from Sloan Kettering. She does NOT have stomach surgery as originally thought. She has a condition that can be treated with medication. Cards may be sent to Mary and Pete at the northern address in the directory.
Elinor Roeschen came home from Lake Wales Hospital last Thursday. It was determined she had a kidney problem, not blood pressure or thyroid problem. Elinor is feeling poorly and will have blood work done today(Monday). Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Doris Wierenga is now at the Groves, room 313A, for therapy to get her up and walking again. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Cecil Harner is now back in the Groves, room 401B. Cards may be sent to him there or to the local address in the directory.
Pat Woodruff had extensive back surgery last Monday. He is home and is doing fairly well considering the severity of his surgery. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Mike Foster has shoulder and elbow surgery last Monday. He is in Tampa General and will go to the VA Hospital in Tampa for rehab. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Virginia Staib is home from the hospital following sinus and throat surgery last week. She is doing well. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
John Cox is to have knee replacement surgery today(Monday). Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Helen Frost had hip replacement surgery two weeks ago. She is going to a rehab center that is 10 blocks from their home. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Rick Menealy was to have a triple, and possible quadruple bypass surgery last Monday. I have not been able to reach his wife to see how he is doing.
We received a thank you note from Charlotte Kautz and family for the many cards and prayers received on the passing of her husband, Raymond.

Ice Cream Social: July 9that 6PM. This is a Church function, so bring your table service. A donation would be appreciated. Hosted by Barbara and Art Marksbury.
Employee Appreciation Dinner: July 12, please bring a dish to pass and your drinks. This will be under the Oaks and Hot Dogs and Hamburgers will be available.

4th of July: Tickets can be obtained by Calling Sally Knapton at 696-3464. Cost is still $6.00. This dinner is done by the Summer Committee and Hosted by Dave and Pam Wiechart.
Grannies Attic is open on Mondays.
