Leo Michlig died Wednesday, June 25th . The family was there with Leo and Janice. They want to thank all their Saddlebag friends for the many cards received during Leo's illness. Condolences may be sent to Janice at the northern address in the directory.
Illness:Don Luko's spinal surgery last Tuesday went very well. He is not ready to come home yet, but he will go for rehab when he's able to leave the hospital. Don and Judy appreciate the cards Don has received. Cards may still be sent to Don at the local address in the directory.
Jim King, a Blue Quill resident, had kidney surgery June 26th. He's home and doing OK. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Ruth Dawson wants to let her Saddlebag friends to know that her address is in care of her daughter Charlene Scholtz at 3703 , not 8703 Rosebriar Ave., Glenshaw, PA 15116. I think I may have typed an incorrect house number on an earlier Sunshine Report. Ruth had surgery on her vocal chords and still speaks very softly. Additionally, she fell. Cards sent to the correct address would really be appreciated.
Leona Halsne is in Winter Haven Hospital for therapy. She is in room 703, Cards and afternoon visits are welcome.
Thank You:We received a lovely thank you note from Doris and Bob DeJong thanking their Saddlebag friends for the outpouring of love, cards and food they have received following their automobile accident. Doris said Saddlebag is a fantastic place to live, especially when you have a problem.
Please remember our Saddlebag friends with prayers, cards and phone calls.

Managers' Report: Good morning
After a visit from SWFWMD SLOA has been awarded the requested renewal of the Water Use Permit.
Lavon from Foot Painting did the repair and paint work on the sign at SR 60.
Maintenance is repaired the greenway running beside the tennis courts and out to Silversides.
Maintenance also read the water meters over the weekend. The water statements will be prepared for distribution in the next couple of weeks.
Also, the pool will be closed for maintenance today only. So sorry for the inconvenience. We wanted to get the painting done before the July 4th holiday.
Everyone should be aware that a pygmy rattle snake was killed near the fountain at the clubhouse. Please let your lawn contractors know and keep an eye out as you do your yard work.
The SLOA office will be closed on Friday, July 4th to observe the Independence Day holiday!
That's all I have. Enjoy your week!
