Ray Reynolds, of Ginger Quill, passed away on June 30. Cards may be sent to his wife June at the Northern address in the directory.
Bob Amick will see his surgeon on Thursday and get the results of his tests. Bob and Nan wish to thank all the Saddlebaggers for the many prayers and cards sent to Bob during his hospital stay.
Marion Seile is still in Lake Wales Medical Center where she was admitted with chronic bronchitis that resulted in pneumonia. She hopes to come home today or tomorrow. Cards may be sent to c/o Robert Douskey at the local address in the directory.
Kay Smith is now at the Life Care Center in Winter Haven, room 417. Cards may be sent to her there. The address is 1510 Cypress Gardens Blvd, SE, Winter Haven, FL 33884.
Mary Lou Underly is home from the hospital following admission for congestive heart failure. She is on heavy antibiotics. Cards may be sent to her at the local address in the directory.
Max and Tomi Blackburn with to thank the many Saddlebaggers for the cards received while Max was in the hospital. He was overwhelmed with the support received from his fellow Saddlebaggers.
Mickey and Claire Hreha thank all of their Saddlebag friends for the many cards and offers of help during their illnesses. Mickey is coming along slowly and Claire is on the mend. They both feel lucky to live in Saddlebag among so many friends.
Roy Bade thanks the many Saddlebaggers for the cards received while he was hospitalized with a bowel problem and urinary infection. He says he is doing well and going at his normal speed.
Doreen Lennox also thanks all for the cards received following successful hip surgery.
Bob Trombley thanks the many Saddlebaggers for the cards received while recovering from a severe throat infection.
Joyce Garrison is now in an assisted living facility in PA. Her address is: Abbe Hall, 113 W. Fourth St., Bethlehem, PA 14015. The phone number is 610-866-6260. She would love to hear from her Saddlebag friends.

Anniversaries: Bob and Sheila Trombley, 31 yrs, today.

Our water level this morning is 101 feet 2 and 1/4 inches. Last Week our water level was 100 feet 10 and ½ inches. This is a rise of 3 and 3/4 inches from last week.
Travel: A good chance to visit the Panama Canal without the expense of a “Panama Canal Cruise".
It's on the Carnival Freedom, which leaves port out of Fort Lauderdale, 8 days with 4 full days at sea. Ports of Call: Cozumel, Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, and Panama. Great if you want to really relax! I wasn't going to plan anything for 2011, but this one looks great! February 12-20. For further info, contact me at
SLR Church: July 14 at 6PM. An Ice Cream social. Bring your bowl and spoon and make your own sundae.
Library: The library is open on Monday's right after Koffee Klatch from 10AM to 12 PM.
Post Office: Summer hours are 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
Grannies Attic: Open all summer on Mondays from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Name Tag: Please wear it if you have one.
Dominoes: For anyone that would like to play, they meet in the Annex on Wednesday at 1PM. This is Mexican train dominoes. Contact Martha Woodruff for more information.
Potluck: Every Friday, with Happy Hour at 4PM and dinner at 5PM. Please bring a generous dish to pass.
Lending Locker: Bruce and Nancy Balch, Al and Donna Luchenbill have offered to help during the summer.
Internet Connection: Bob Staib, Bob Trombley, and Dee Braund, have been and are continuing to work on this. The weather is becoming a slight problem. Rain, Rain, and more rain. A lot of time, money, and sweat has already been expended, with a long way to go.
