Harry Ward is still in the hospital. An orthopedic doctor will examine his big toe to determine if it needs to be removed. Harry is depressed with all the complications following his original five way bypass surgery. He does have the desire to get better as he wants to return to Saddlebag by the end of the season to see the many new friends he has met here. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Midge Schleweis, a former resident, had double bypass surgery last Wednesday. Her pacemaker was turned off for the surgery and turned back on and set at a higher rate so more blood could get through. It will be back to its original rate in a few weeks. Cards may be sent to 143 Jacaranda Dr., Leesburg, FL 34748, the phone# is (352)638-9076.
Bob Staib Jr. had a pacemaker put in this past weekend. He is doing OK and hopes to come home tomorrow(Tuesday). Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
