Managers' Report: Good morning everyone,
The summer mailer with water statements and the letter from the Rule Book Committee has been distributed or mailed. If you see any issues with the numbers please bring or fax your statement to the office so the problem can be rectified. We have already found 1 meter not working which has been replaced.
I would like to thank Marilyn Storm and Ginny Lowell for helping deliver some of the mailers to those on site while on C.A.P. patrol. We appreciate their volunteer efforts very much..
I am having Statewide Electric look into some temporary lighting for the end of the dock and the walkway until we can budget for permanent lighting for the second phase of construction.
They did alleviate the problem with the AC duct at the screen room/laundry side. Rather than run duct work from the return, they put a vent return in the bottom of the AC box to create circulation. Saved a lot of money and gets the same effect.
They will also be checking the pool light timers today. It seems they have been malfunctioning.
The men's sauna is closed and awaiting a final decision on repairs.
SLOA submitted payment to SWFWMD and Polk County last week via Envisors in order for Envisors to move forward on permitting for the site work. James Curtis is waiting for the finalized engineers drawing on the building. He said it should be ready this week and should have the permit to build in the next couple of weeks.
James also said the parts for the power door at the clubhouse should be in the first part of this week.
The office has had several reports of fox sightings on the property, and at 13 SBTS in particular. Please be advised Animal Control will not come out unless the animal is trapped. Neither Management nor maintenance will enter private property to trap wild animals. I am notifying the owners at 13 SBTS as it appears the fox family has built a den under their unit. In the mean time, please be aware if you have pets, a fox must feed his/her family. It would be best not to let your pets outside without a leash or supervision.
Nalcrest is having their hurricane preparedness seminar tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. at the Doherty Auditorium. The last one was postponed due to inclement weather. They dropped off the flyer late Friday. It will be posted after Koffee.
That's about all I have. Any questions?
Have a great week! Mel
