Jeanne O'Flynn passed away July 18, 2007 of cancer. Cards may be sent to Tom at the local address in the directory. Tom wishes to thank the many Saddlebaggers for the prayers and cards they received during Jeanne and his illnesses. He said he fell in love with Saddlebag all over again.
Shirley Paul, formerly of 42 Royal Coachman, died this past week. I don't have an address to send a card to the family.
Bill Collins, Hugh Collins father, died July 18, 2007 at 101 years old. Cards may be sent to his wife Adelle at
2271 Burroughs Dr., Toledo, Ohio 43614-4311.
Mid Wodrich was home briefly following a stay at a hospital in Ft. Lauderdale. She returned to Ft.Lauderdale where there are better facilities for her treatment. A needle biopsy was to be done on the spot that was found on her lung, but the doctors determined that this could not be done as her lungs are too bad.. Mary Anne Moore, who was home following a hip surgery, was taken to the hospital with chest pains. She is home now and continuing to receive physical therapy at home. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Carol Moore is home from Lake Wales hospital where she had apace maker put in last week. She is feeling so much better now and wants to thank Saddlebaggers for the many cards she received.
Jack Nolan had an aortic valve replacement this past week. He is doing very well. Cards may be sent to Jack at the northern address in the directory.
Diane Green, if all goes well, is to have a knee replacement today. Additionally, their son Steve and his family recently moved to Japan. In less than a month they endured a category 5 typhoon and an earthquake. Their two young children, ages 4 and a7, have ontacted a serious staff infection. Cards may be sent to Diane at the northern address in the directory.
Doris Wierenga is home from the hospital where she was admitted with breathing problems. Jim says she has to see her doctor daily for blood tests. Doris wishes to thank all for the many cards she has received.
Joan Holloway's kidney removal has been postponed until she sees a cardiologist. She is feeling fairly well at this point.
Joe Broich has been moved to a different nursing home. When admitted he had a fever of 101.7 and had pneumonia.. Joe also has two open sores on his backside and two on his heels. Joe has Parkinson's disease as well as dementia. Erla stays with him for the entire day to help as much as she can. She wishes to thank Saddlebaggers for the many cards Joe has received. Cards may still be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Hazel Miller is still at the Grove Nursing Home, room 208.
Lois Detenbeck thanks everyone for being so helpful and for all the beautiful cards she received. Lois is doing well at home.
Joe and Deanna Woody also thank all for the prayers, cards and calls. Joe is recovering nicely with lots of movement in his leg. He uses a cane at times, but also walks without one.

The water level this morning is 100' 3 3/4" which is 5 ", more than last week. We did get some badly needed rain last week. Everyone keep in mind that our water level should be about 102' above sea level, so it is imperative we keep getting some rain.
August 8th at 6PM. A salad smorgasbord will beheld. This event is hosted by Art & Barbara Marksbury. Please bring your own dishes and invite your neighbors. This is a SLR Church function. A free will offering will be taken.
Campbell labels are still being collected by Lorraine Kobierecki. She is at 5 Beaverkill.
The Summer Committee and Bob and Lynn Mayhew are hosting a dinner on August 5 at 5PM. Ham with Pineapple with a Hawaiian theme. Tickets can be obtained by calling Sally Knapton at 696-3464. Next Monday (7-30-07) is the last day to get tickets.
The Summer Michigan Reunion is being hosted by Ed &Helen Clark. It will be in Frankenmuth, MI on August 1stthrough the 4th. Those wishing to camp out, there is a campground on the Lutheran Church grounds. The Lutheran Church campground is at the end of Shlier Street. From Main Street (M83) West on Shlier to the end. Shlier has Mike Young GM Dealership on the South Corner & a Farm Equipment Dealer on the North Corner.
