Roger and Joyce Belanger lost their grandson last month. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Bessie Westfall of 64 Silversides passed away last week. They have not been to Saddlebag for several due to illness. Cards may be sent to Garrett (Gene) at the northern address in the directory.
Ro Seiss is here today with her daughter. Ro had bypass surgery last week. Her daughter has been a big help to Ro at home. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Harry Saulnier is in rehab following open heart surgery. He is eating better and may possibly come home next week-end. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Pat Turner had a hip replacement last Tuesday. She is home and doing very well. A physical therapist comes to the house two or three times a week. Pat said Gerry is a good “nurse" and has turned into a regular Betty Crocker. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Sheila Trombley is doing a little better each day. Bob's mother Helen, a former LPN, is here to help out. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Mary Lou Underly was taken to the hospital Saturday with chest pains. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Ed Griffith, a former resident of many years, will have hip replacement surgery this week. Cards may be sent to 7815 Maplewood Dr., #702, W. Melbourne, FL 32904. Phone #(321) 676-6429
Juanita Westover is not doing well. She went to Cleveland Clinic last December for injections in her spine to relieve the pain. However, she is still in pain most of the time despite the medication. Cards would be most welcome.
Madeline Conway was admitted to Lake Wales Hospital last week with tightness in her chest. She is here today and doing OK. Madeline plans to go home to N.Y. in early August.
Darrell Slagle fell while refilling a bird feeder two weeks ago. He found out Friday that he had broken a bone in his wrist. He's in a cast and has been excused from “dishwasher duty".

The water level this morning is 98' 8 ¾ inches. This level came up about 4 inches from last week. We have been getting some much needed rain. Everyone keep in mind that our water level should be about 102' above sea level.
