Doris Berle fell at home and is in Lake Wales Medical Center. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Marion Seile is back in Lake Wales Medical Center with congestive heart failure. Cards may be sent to the Douskey address in the directory.
Murray Green is resting at home following surgery this past week. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Ed Griffith, a former Saddlebag resident and Pastor, had a “bleeding stroke". According to his wife Cathy, Ed is not doing well at all. Prayers would be appreciated. John and Pat Goodwin request prayers for their son Johnas he has pneumonia again due to his leukemia.
Joan Watts (Silversides) from Ashland Ohio fell in her garage and fractured her pelvis in 2 places. She is in a nursing home but will be going back home on Aug 5th. Cards can be sent to her Ohio address in the book.
Thank You: Steve and I want to thank all our Saddlebag friends and neighbors for your cards, thoughts and prayers on the passing of my mother. She was 92 years old and not in good health. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness. Dianne Gillies

Announcements: Our water level this morning is 101 feet 4.5 inches. Last Week our water level was 101 feet 4.25 inches.
Hi-Speed Internet: We are expecting the fiber-optic cable to be installed within the next 2 weeks. Toward the end of that period you may experience some outages lasting no more than a minute or 2. Bob Staib Jr. will be making some changes to accommodate the new cable. Also, the antennas at each house will be getting a firmware upgrade and during the upgrade you may notice a very short outage.
Polk County Public Shelters: There is an informational packet and signup sheets for the Polk County public shelters at the office. If you need or want to use one of these shelters in the event of a storm, you need to fill out one of the applications, NOW and not just before a storm.
Post Office: Summer hours, 9:30 -- 10:30 AM
Library: The library is only open following Coffee on Mondays.

Travel: Cruising January 15-25, 2012????
I have some information re' shore excursions…if you have already signed up for the cruise, email me if you are interested so I can send you the info. IF you haven't already signed up for the cruise….WHAT are you waiting for?? Come join your fellow Saddlebaggers on a great 10 day cruise on the beautiful Norwegian Dawn. Cabins are filling up fast…so don't wait. We would love to have you join us!
