Deaths: None to report
Illness:Chuck Seely is still in Lake Wales Medical Center. He has crushed fourth lumbar vertebrae. His doctor told him of a procedure using glue on either side of the crushed vertebrae that would cushion it and virtually eliminate the pain. After that Chuck will be going to a facility for rehab. When we are certain where he will be then we'll be able to send cards.
Lester Bock is still at the Grace Nursing Home for therapy. Cards may be sent to him there. He is in room 211-A.
Margaret Dillon was released from the Life Care facility this past Wednesday following a long stay for multiple infections.. Margaret and Gene will be at Savannah Court for the month of August. They are in apartment #9. Cards and/or visits would be welcome.
Paul Lowe had both knees replaced on June 25th. He is doing well. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
John Cascone was visiting his daughter in Key West when he became ill. He was taken to a hospital in Miami where he was diagnosed with extremely low blood count. John is in rehab now, but I don't have an address to send a card to.
Please remember our Saddlebag friends with prayers, cards and phone calls.

Managers' Report:Good morning everyone,
Growers has been delayed approximately 2 weeks for the work on the well pumps. They are tentatively scheduled for August 13.
As you all know, late last Friday there was an issue with the AC at the clubhouse. Statewide Electric was here first thing Monday a.m. to check it out. It took Nick a while to find the problem. I happened to be there when he did...he showed me the wire and said "this was sabotaged"! Clean cuts on both ends of the wire and several feet of wire missing from the #2 condensing unit (located behind the clubhouse near the rear landing) to the air handler (which is located in the attic). "They" (the saboteur) reached up under the landing (deck) about 2 ft and cut that end...then went to the condensing unit and cut that end. They took the missing wire with them so as not to leave any readily visible evidence. Interesting that they chose that particular unit to tamper with. It is 1 of 2 (out of 7) AC units for the clubhouse at zero life (though it is still working fine). It happens to be one of the units that only kicks on when it gets really hot in order to supplement the rest of the system, so, you wouldn't necessarily notice the problem right away. He also replaced a capacitor needed on the #6 unit (which is also at zero life).
Long story short, AC was back on line Monday...vandals still at work.
Amerigas is scheduled for 08-10-12 to bypass the gas line at the annex site.
Annex update...Envisors is waiting for word/comments back from the County and SWFWMD after submitting their original paperwork and requests for permits. Kriss Kaye, the engineer, thinks it will be another 2-3 weeks. Also, James (R.I.G.) is supposed to be submitting his final drawing to Kriss. He won't be able to submit it to the County for the building permit until Envisors gets the ok on the site plan R.I.G. is still waiting for the parts for the power door at the clubhouse.
Just a reminder, there is a Board meeting this Wednesday, August 8 at the clubhouse at 9:00 a.m. The agenda was posted on the property last Friday. We hope to see you all there.
That's about it for this week! I look forward to next week's meeting. Have a great weekend!
