Murray Green is doing well following his last surgery 2 weeks ago. It was good to see him in church yesterday.
Ed Griffith is still in the hospital and not doing as well as the family hoped. The brain bleed has not dissipated. They do not know at this point when Ed w Prayers would be appreciated. Deanna Williams of Woodruff Way had breast surgery a few weeks ago. She is recuperating but will require 12 chemo treatment beginning the end of August. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Anna Miller (Staib) was taken by ambulance to Lake Wales Medical Center, room 352. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Corrine Mark is still in Lake Wales Medical Center following colon surgery last week. She is in room 220. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Correction: It is John Goodwin who had pneumonia again due to Leukemia. He is now back to work. Their son Jay has a tumor behind his eye which is shrinking, but not totally gone yet. He is working every day and is only uncomfortable when he gets his monthly shot in his eye.
Thank You: Esther Knasel thanks everyone for their prayers, thoughts and cards received following her knee replacement. She is doing well.
Ed and Cathy Griffith thank everyone for the cards received.

Announcements: Our water level this morning is 101 feet 5.25 inches. Last Week our water level was 101 feet 4.5 inches.
Hi-Speed Internet: We are expecting the fiber-optic cable to be installed within the next 2 weeks. Toward the end of that period you may experience some outages lasting no more than a minute or 2. Bob Staib Jr. will be making some changes to accommodate the new cable. Also, the antennas at each house will be getting a firmware upgrade and during the upgrade you may notice a very short outage.
Polk County Public Shelters: There is an informational packet and signup sheets for the Polk County public shelters at the office. If you need or want to use one of these shelters in the event of a storm, you need to fill out one of the applications, NOW and not just before a storm.
Post Office: Summer hours, 9:30 -- 10:30 AM
Library: The library is only open following Coffee on Mondays. We anticipate the library not being open next Monday. The annex building has some issues with the roof and needs to be fixed.

Grannies Attic: Open Mondays, Ginny Lowell and Cheryl Thompson are the contact persons.
Emergencies: Call 911. Also, call 863-604-4321. This number gets you to our security personnel. This is a cell phone number. The number is also prominently displayed on the front cover of the directory.

Travel: Cruising January 15-25, 2012????
I have some information re' shore excursions…if you have already signed up for the cruise, email me if you are interested so I can send you the info. IF you haven't already signed up for the cruise….WHAT are you waiting for?? Come join your fellow Saddlebaggers on a great 10 day cruise on the beautiful Norwegian Dawn. Cabins are filling up fast…so don't wait. We would love to have you join us!
