Dick and Greta Dain's 13 year old granddaughter, Molly Millsaps, has a tumor on her thigh. The family is awaiting biopsy results.
Harry Saulnier is now home. He is doing well.
John Goodwin had a tumor and had 2 feet of his small intestines removed.
Bob and Val Parr want to thank everyone for the cards and prayers on the death of their son.
Kaye Smith sent a nice card thanking everyone for all the prayers, cards, visits, phone calls, goodies, and most of all the encouragement. She is making progress. She has been moved to the 7th floor of Winter Haven Hospital and is in the Jay Fuller Rehab center. More information will be forthcoming when it is available.

Post Office: New Hours for the Summer: 9:30 -- 10:30AM
Grannies Attic is open on Mondays from 9:30AM to 4PM.
Potlucks every Friday at 5PM.
Summer Committee: Labor Day Dinner Tickets can be obtained by calling Sally Knapton at 696-3464. This will be on September 1 at 5PM. Dinner will include: Pulled Pork sandwiches, baked beans, Cole Slaw, Make your own Ice Cream Sundae, and drinks. All for the Low price of $6.00. Your Hosts will be Bob and Val Parr.
Salad Smorgasbord, Hosted by Dick and Mary Lou Shimp, August 13th at 6PM. A donation will be accepted. Please bring a dish to pass.
Ballots: August 14 at noon is the deadline to get your ballots to the office. After noon the ballots will be counted. On August 15 at 9AM there will be a meeting to give everyone here the results. This will be reported in this newsletter when it is available.

Lester and Dorothy have returned from a vacation trip to Northern Wisconsin. They were the guests of their son and daughter -- in -- Law. Eugene and Una Bock. They vacationed at Pelican Lake. They enjoyed a picnic supper at Bill and Sandy Radtke's cottage. They then drove with family to Little Bohemia one day for Lunch. We are glad to have them back.
