Anna Miller, Bob Staib Senior's companion was taken to Lake Wales Medical Center with a rapid heart beat. Once she is stabilized she will most likely return to Grace Nursing Home (formerly The Dove) for rehab. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Bob Ashley had a heart attack this past week. He was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Peoria where a sint was put in the blocked artery. He is doing well and should be home by now. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Art Marksbury is home and on medication for atrial fibrillation. He will also be going to a wound clinic for treatment on his leg. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Corrine Mark is home and doing quite well following her surgery. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Opal Fox fell last Wednesday and has a nasty gash on her leg. She will be going to a wound center for treatment. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
The Lapsley's son Bob is now home and doing well following a heart attack last week.

Announcements: Our water level this morning is 101 feet 8.50 inches. Last Week our water level was 101 feet 5.25 inches.
Hi-Speed Internet: The fiber-optic cable has been installed to Bob Staib's house. We hope Verizon installs the equipment for connection, today, so that the feed can be online by this Wednesday.
Polk County Public Shelters: There is an informational packet and signup sheets for the Polk County public shelters at the office. If you need or want to use one of these shelters in the event of a storm, you need to fill out one of the applications, NOW and not just before a storm.
Post Office: Summer hours, 9:30 -- 10:30 AM
Library: The library is closed until further notice. Any items to be returned should be dropped off at Ginny Lowell's house at 37 Royal Coachman.
Name Tag: Please wear it if you have one.
Grannies Attic: Open Mondays, Ginny Lowell and Cheryl Thompson are the contact persons.
Can Tabs: Please save them. Per Joan Hannon, they go to support the Ronald McDonald house.
Emergencies: Call 911. Also, call 863-604-4321. This number gets you to our security personnel. This is a cell phone number. The number is also prominently displayed on the front cover of the directory.
