Bill Purdy is half way through his cancer treatments. He is feeling pretty good and wishes to thank all the Saddlebaggers for the phone calls and many get well cards he has received.
Joan Hannon took a nasty fall while she and Jim were checking on houses following a rain storm. She has two broken ribs, a knee injury and abrasions on her hands. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Ed Cole is in Lake Wales Medical Center. The area around the feeding tube had become infected. A new tube has been inserted and is working just fine. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.

SLR Church: August 11 at 6PM. Salad Smorgasbord. Bring your favorite salad to pass around. And obviously, bring your eating utensils.
Library: The library is open on Monday's right after Koffee Klatch from 10AM to 12 PM.
Post Office: Summer hours are 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
Grannies Attic: Open all summer on Mondays from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Name Tag: Please wear it if you have one.
Dominoes: For anyone that would like to play, they meet in the Annex on Wednesday at 1PM. This is Mexican train dominoes. Contact Martha Woodruff for more information.
Potluck: Every Friday, with Happy Hour at 4PM and dinner at 5PM. Please bring a generous dish to pass.
Lending Locker: Dick and Greta Dain have offered to help during the summer. Contact Them.
Flu Shots: The Polk County Health Dept. will be here on November 12 from 9AM to 12 noon. Contact Dick or Greta Dain for more information.
Internet Connection: We should have all the installs done this week for the people who are here during the summer. If you are up north, you need to let us know when you will be arriving back here. If you don't want to be on the bottom of the list, please call the number below. That way we can install and be ready for you. We are not charging for service during August as we prepare to start commercial operation on September 1. If you are not on the install list please call Ginnie Staib at 863-215-7988 to arrange to get on the list.
Address Directories: The new ones are now available. They are a pink color. To get a copy, see Greta Dain.
Manager Report: Fire hydrants have been flushed. The clubhouse fix should be done tomorrow. New washers and dryers will be installed today, tomorrow, and Wednesday. Audit reports are available on the website under Board of Directors or from the office. Nothing on when the pool repairs will start.
