Illness and Recoveries:
Joyce Zampieri is doing well and in therapy for a torn rotator cuff. She wishes to thank all for the many cards received following her abdominal surgery.
Joan Holloway's kidney removal surgery this past Friday was very successful. The tumor was encapsulated and therefore had not spread. Lymph nodes in the kidney were also removed and had not been affected. Joan's mom and daughter are here and Joan should be able to come home today. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Al Luchenbill will undergo surgery on August 30th for a mitrial valve replacement. Al had received two pints of blood last week and has already lost it. As his heart is so swollen the surgeons will perform the surgery through his back. This is very delicate surgery, and the family asks for prayers.
Doris Wierenga is not doing well and may have to go back to the hospital.
Please remember our Saddlebag friends with prayers, cards and phone calls.
