The County was here last week to review the annex building site. Envisors also received the notes and additional requirements from SWFWMD concerning the storm water drainage. Kriss said his additional info will be ready and turned in by this Friday
811 has completed their locate of possible utility lines on both 29 Saddlebag Trail and 93 Saddlebag Trail. The pine tree Dee Braund and Jean Lawrence donated will be moved at some point this week, weather permitting.
The maintenance dept. readied for the storm. The grounds are in very good shape so far.
Statewide Electric has replaced a ballast in the light at the corner of Queen of Waters and the entrance to the Resort. It is now operational.
A phonevite was sent out on Friday to alert residents that Florida Rural Water will be performing a smoke test of the sewer system to expose leaks in the system. It will be some time this week, weather permitting. If you see smoke coming from the sewer system or grounds don't call the fire department, the office, or security.
I have a couple of housekeeping items..your latest reconciled financials are available at the office and on the CHUG website for your records. Also, management is requesting that residents refrain from feeding the birds unless you have protected bird feeders. The piles of corn and bird seed being left on the grounds and at the water's edge is soaking up moisture, fermenting, and turning to poison and emitting noxious fumes. The small animals and birds that continue to eat the fermented seeds are dying, and the fumes are bothersome to the residents. Most of what we found was in the Blue Quill area. Maintenance will have to remove the piles of seeds from the grounds and the lake. Not a fun job.
That's about it. Any questions?
