Charlotte Ferrara, Genevieve Saulnier's sister, passed away this past week. Cards may be sent to Charlotte at the New Port Richey address in the directory.
Al Luchenbill had his surgery on August 30th for a mitrial valve replacement. The surgery was very successful. The surgeon found the valve to be more damaged than originally thought, and Al was fortunate to have the surgery when he did. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Pete Deboer is in a hospital in Bethlehem, PA. It hasn't been determined yet whether he had stroke or possibly meningitis. Mary said he sleeps a lot. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Allie Franklin is also in a hospital in PA. He had a growth on his foot which he cut out himself instead of seeing a doctor. Infection set in and the toes had to be removed. Allie will be in the hospital for a few months. Cards sent to the local address will get to him.
We received a nice thank you note from Jan Nowak. She thanks all Saddlebaggers for the many cards and phone calls she received following surgery for a broken arm. Jan said that with therapy she should be "back the way God intended" in six weeks or so.
Please remember our Saddlebag friends with prayers, cards and phone calls.
Saddlebag Sunshine Gal

Stop signs have been installed at the 2 intersections of Silversides and the Trail. Be aware that they are there and act accordingly.
We have a new Website, which is still under construction. If you have any suggestions as to what you would like to be included on the Website, please let me know. I will pass on the information. Also, for those of us who have a hard time reading small print, when you click on the Koffee Klatch (here) line it brings up the current report. To make the print the size you would like, just press and hold the Ctrl key down and press the Plus sign. http://www.saddlebaglakeresort.netis the site location. Check it out.

The next issue of the Saddlebag Express is October. Sue Beagle needs any information to be inserted, to be in her hands by September 17. She is in the directory. Any information can also be dropped off at 75 Saddlebag Trail.
SLR Women's Club: An Old Fashioned Bridal Show will be held in February of 2008. Don't forget to bring your gown or your mothers or your daughters or a friend's bridal outfit. You can wear it, someone else can wear it, or it can be hung on a hanger. That's an old Fashion Bridal Show in February 2008.
