Illness: Ed Cole is home from the hospital where the incision for the feeding tube was cleaned again and taped instead of the previous stitching. Ed is battling esophageal cancer. Appropriate cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Shirley Pacini fell while at her daughter's home. She is in ICU at a local hospital. I will present an address for cards as soon I get one.
Ginny Lowell stumbled and has a hair line fracture on the side of her foot. She will see Dr. Reddy who will put a cast on her foot. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Thank You: Karen Pyne wishes to thank the many Saddlebaggers who sent cards on the passing of her brother.
Joan Hannon also thanks her many friends for cards, calls and get well wishes she has received. It is difficult for Joan to be completely offher feet for the remaining two and a half months required as she recuperates from broken ribs and a broken knee.

SLR Church: September 8 at 6 PM Potluck. Bring your favorite dish to pass around. And obviously, bring your eating utensils.
Library: The library is open on Monday's right after Koffee Klatch from 10AM to 12 PM.
Post Office: Summer hours are 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
Grannies Attic: Open all summer on Mondays from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Dominoes: For anyone that would like to play, they meet in the Annex on Wednesday at 1PM. This is Mexican train dominoes. Contact Martha Woodruff for more information.
Potluck: Every Friday, with Happy Hour at 4PM and dinner at 5PM. Please bring a generous dish to pass.
Lending Locker: Dick and Greta Dain have offered to help during the summer. Contact Them.
Flu Shots: The Polk County Health Dept. will be here on November 12 from 9AM to 1PM. Contact Dick or Greta Dain for more information and to schedule an appointment.

Internet Connection: 1. As far as Bob knows all people who have asked for service and who are now in residence are now connected. If you are presently in residence at Saddlebag and want the new service PLEASE contact Bob immediately as the rest of August and all of September will be spent installing systems at homes of people who are coming back in the Sept-Dec Time frame. If you have not already contacted us and you want service before Dec 31, please send an email to Bob at firstname.lastname@example.org containing the following information.
B. SLR address (stump number)
C. telephone number where we can contact you.
D. date you expect to return to Saddlebag.
E. Do you have an old Lake Wales Wireless antenna
F. If so, was it the old square flat panel antenna or the newer white plastic antenna about the size of a brick.
We will contact you by phone or email to arrange setup.
3. Every antenna account must have an associated SLR website login account. Some people have had as many as 13 SLR Logins, so Bob will need to contact everyone with multiple accounts and weed out the extra ones. If you are not on the install list please call Ginny Staib at 863-215-7988 to arrange to get on the list.
4. Bob has upgraded the email server in California. He now has the resources for another 500 email addresses. If you need an email account, contact him.
5. If you are here at SLR and are connected up to KCnetwork, your grace period will end tomorrow. You need to contact Bob or Virginia Staib to make arrangements for payment.
Address Directories: The new ones are now available. They are a pink color. To get a copy, see Greta Dain.
Saddlebag Express: The deadline to get information to Sue Beagle for the October Express is September 13. Email Sue at email@example.com or call her at 696-1035.
Fire Dept: On September 20 at 10AM our fire dept will be here with a presentation on Falls and Fires.
Manager Report: Bryce Fuday gave an update on all the problems that have been identified and are being fixed. Quite a lengthy report and I have a hard time writing all of it down. Contact Bryce for all the particulars.The pool is now closed and will remain closed for 4 to 6weeks.
