Al Luchenbill is home and doing very well. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Pete Deboer is home also. The doctors said he did not have a stroke, but most likely meningitis. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory. They plan to come down to Saddlebag October 16th.
Allie Franklin is in Robert Packer Hospital, room 624B, Sayre, PA 18840. Cards may be sent there or to the local address in the directory. Allie will be in the hospital for quite some time.
Bill Teetsell was taken to the hospital after he blacked out at home. He came home the next day and will undergo tests to determine the cause and treatment. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Don Twining isn't doing very well. He and Margaret are with their daughter in Ohio. Cards may be sent to Don c/o Mrs. Cynthia Zeiber, 364 Hampton Park, Westerville, OH 43081-5723.
Paul Garrison is having a colonoscopy today. He should be home later today.

The water level this morning is 100' 3 3/4 "which is 1 1/4", less than last week. We got very little rain last week. Everyone keep in mind that our water level should be about 102' above sea level, so it is imperative we keep getting some rain.
Campbell Soup labels are still being collected by Lorraine Kobierecki. She is at 5 Beaverkill.
Stop signs have been installed at the 2 intersections of Silversides and the Trail. Be aware that they are there and act accordingly.
We have a new Website, which is still under construction. If you have any suggestions as to what you would like to be included on the Website, please let me know. I will pass on the information. Also, for those of us who have a hard time reading small print, when you click on the Koffee Klatch (here) line it brings up the current report. The new Saddlebag Lake Resort Directory is now available from Dot Lynch or Greta Dain. They are in the directory. Dot Lynch says she will even deliver to your house if there is a need. These are an orange color. Cost is still $1.00.
The next issue of the Saddlebag Express is October. Sue Beagle needs any information to be inserted, to be in her hands by September 17. She is in the directory. Any information can also be dropped off at 75 Saddlebag Trail.
SLR Women's Club: An Old Fashioned Bridal Show will be held in February of 2008. Don't forget to bring your gown or your mothers or your daughters or a friend's bridal outfit. You can wear it, someone else can wear it, or it can be hung on a hanger. That's an old Fashion Bridal Show in February 2008.
SLR Womens Club is Putting on the Glitz at their January Meeting. Ema Friesen, Chairwoman would like to remind all the ladies to look for jewelry, shoes, purses, and clothing to wear for this meeting. Any extra glitzy jewelry can be loaned to the decorations committee and would be returned.
September 12 at 6PM: The Saddlebag Lake Resort Church is having a Potluck Dinner. This is hosted by Agnes Swatzell and Ken Hall. Everyone is cordially invited to attend. Please bring a generous dish to pass and you own table service.
Barry & Doreen Heaman want to remind everyone, that if you have a musical instrument, to bring it along with you when you come back. It will be very useful during Mardi gras at our Fun Day in 2008.
Grannies Attic is now open on Mondays from 3:30 -- 5:30PM for donations of new and used items. We need volunteers to box up the items and sort them. We will be doing that today at 6PM. Call Marilyn Storm if you can help. She is in the Directory.
