Internet Connection: Bob Staib announced that the SLR internet system may go down on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week for brief periods (a minute or two at a time) as we add an additional tower arrays to feed the Pink Lady area at the bottom of the hill at the rear of the Resort.
Bob also stated that we need your help in complying with an FCC requirement that all home routers be adjusted to work on WiFi channel One (1). Our new radio antennas are smart enough to refuse to connect to the towers when in the presence of too much radio interference from nearby routers. None of our towers operate on channel One in compliance with the new FCC standard which requires that all home routers be operated on channel one. If you have any questions, please contact Bob Staib or Bob Trombley and we will arrange to come to your home and adjust your router to channel One. This includes people who are operating routers connected to other services such as (Verizon Air cards or Satellite receivers). Recently purchased routers are OK because they have all been factory set to channel One since 2008, but older routers are still able to be set to any channel. Thanks for you cooperation in helping us assure the best WiFi experience for everyone in Saddlebag.
Address Directories: The new ones are now available. They are a pink color. To get a copy, see Greta Dain.

Manager Report: Hello Everyone!
My name is Melanie Kremkau (acting manager). I would like to update you all on completed and ongoing projects inside the resort.
The roof around the chimney has been successfully repaired! Mother nature checked the quality of workmanship...it appears the contractors passed her test!
They have also completed the roof repair over the exterior freezer and the storage room behind the clubhouse, as well as the rear wall. We are still waiting for the doors for the storage room, the rear clubhouse door, and the gutters and downspouts for the storage room and the rear of the clubhouse. That work should be complete by week's end.
The exercise room was also i need of attention. The new door is on order, and the broken drywall will be replaced as well.
We now have COLD air in the clubhouse!! I think a big round of applause is in order for Statewide Electric. As soon as the new air handler and condensing unit was approved, they completed the job as quickly as humanly possible.
The floors in the restrooms and shower areas in the screen room are being painted. They will be closed until September 15. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
A good amount of pressure cleaning has been taken care of, including the area surrounding the shuffleboard courts, the benches, picnic tables, the band shell, the front entrance of the clubhouse, the front of the office, and all bike racks. In doing so,there was a minor amount of damage done to 2 of the shuffleboard courts. They are scheduled for repair as soon as the Nidy corporation has a crew in the area.
Our laundry facilities have been updated! All new washers and dryers have been installed in both the laundry room and bath house #2. For your convenience, we will have change available at the office for the residents should you need it.
The pool project is progressing nicely and on schedule. We hope to have it up and running very soon. In the mean time, we are contacting an aquatic specialist to address the weed and algae issue at the beach.
Thank you all for your patience as we continue to tackle and resolve issues throughout the resort. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at the office Monday through Friday (696-4207). Melanie
