Bob Douskey lost his brother last week. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Illness:Darrell Slagle is still in the Grove Nursing Home, room 206. Visits and cards are welcome. Cards may be sent to him there or to the local address in the directory.
Phyllis Boucher is in ICU at Lake Wales Medical Center. Chuck was unable to wake her Saturday morning. More information to follow.
Ruth Allem is now at the Grace Nursing Home, room 109. Cards may be sent there or to the local address in the directory.
Bruce Balch is in Veterans Hospital, 1300 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Fl 33612, 4 south, room 420 bed 4. Bruce had a hematoma between the muscles in his leg. An incision was made to drain it. Bruce was on coumadin and another blood thinner and as he put it “it got nasty". The doctor told Bruce he was very close to losing his leg. He was up walking yesterday, and hopes to come home later this week. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Cheryl Thompson had a heart attack yesterday which affected the spleen cutting off her oxygen supply. She is in Lake Wales Medical Center, room 215-1. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.

Announcements: Our water level this morning is 102 feet 10 and 1/4 inches. Last Week our water level was 102 feet 8 and 3/4 inches.
Saddlebag Express:Deadline is today get your articles to Sue Beagle for the October issue of the Saddlebag Express.
Electronic Waste: Gary Schevers will be making a trip to Lakeland on October 2. If you have some electronics that you want to get rid of, get them to Gary before then. He is at 16 Saddlebag Trail.
New Directories:The new directories are now ready for distribution. Cost is still $1.00. They have a blue cover. See Greta Dain for your copy.
Can Tabs:Joan Hannon is still collecting can tabs, which are then donated to Ronald McDonald House.
Potlucks:We are still doing Friday potlucks. HH at 4 with dinner at 5PM.
Post Office: Summer hours, 9:30 -- 10:30 AM
Library:Open Mondays only from 10:30AM to 11:30AM

Lending Locker:For use of the lending locker, contact Dick or Greta Dain or Agnes Swatzell or Al and Donna Luckenbill.
Emergencies: Call 911. Also, call 863-604-4321. This number gets you to our security personnel. This is a cell phone number. The number is also prominently displayed on the front cover of the directory.
Travel:All trips have been put on the website under classified ads. Goto classified ads and scroll down until you get to travel.
Managers' Report Good Morning everyone,
The interior of the screen room is painted and is re-opened.
The clubhouse will be closed from September 24th after Koffee Klatch to September 29. Maintenance will be stripping and waxing the floors.
Storage lot fees are due October 1,if you have not already paid for the year.
The Management is asking once again that owners, renters, and guests please refrain from approaching the employees about maintenance items. If you have a suggestion please see me or put a suggestion in the box at the office.
