Managers' Report:Good Morning, I hope you have all had a great Weekend.
As mentioned last week, Advanced Disposal had discontinued yard waste pickup caused by Hurricane Irma. Tuesday maintenance began picking up the organic debris piles from the fronts of owners homes and staging it at the back and a phonevite was sent out on Thursday.
Any cleanup of debris from the hurricane done by contractors must be either taken to the back staging area or removed from the association. Do not let your contractors leave piles at the front of your units as this makes more work for maintenance and slows the cleanup efforts. Thank you to everyone who has brought their debris to the back staging area. Every little bit helps with the cleanup.
When you see the staff picking up debris piles please give them room to work. If you have questions regarding the cleanup efforts please ask at the office and not stop the crews doing the cleanup as this slows them down. Thank you all for your patience.
Obviously there are some repairs to be done around the resort that will require contractors, such as repairs to the roof for the recreation room and repairing the dock. We have met with adjusters for the damaged association buildings, and are in the process of obtaining estimates for repairs. We understand season is coming up fast and we will do our best to coordinate repairs so they do not interfere with any scheduled events. If any conflicts in scheduling do arise, we will update the effected parties and update you all of any amenities that will not be accessible during repairs as soon as repairs are scheduled.
Thank you everyone who donated to the Puerto Rico relief effort last week. I'm happy to say with all the donations it filled up the back of the patrol van nicely. It is great to see the spirit of charity that exists here in Saddlebag!
Thank you, and have a great week!
