Please go to http://www.saddlebaglakeresort.piczo.com/for a better explanation of the water levels. Also, click on all the categories, and read, as there is some very pertinent information. Please no sightseeing in the resort, as this creates a problem, until the water goes down. Access to Queen of Waters, Red Quill, Beaverkill, and Royal Coachman is by canoe only. Speed limit is 1 mph on the trail.
SLR Happy Hour is being held each Friday at 5PM in the Clubhouse. Bring a dish to pass and the beverage of your choice. For more info, contact Sharon Hancox at 605-3053). See you there.
EMERGENCY: Sewer restrictions are now in place. Please conserve.
We are having meetings every Monday at 10AM in the clubhouse to keep everyone informed as to what is happening here in the resort, immediately after Koffee Klatch.
As of now, there will be no service trucks allowed into SLR unless it is an emergency.
The total collection for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund is $2515.00. Bev is still taking donations and did receive $20.00 at this mornings meeting. They can be sent to the Office.
The road is operational and manned by volunteers. The hours are 8AM -- 4PM. George Lowell, in charge of this. He is still in need of more volunteers. Contact him at 696-9593 if you would like to help.
The Lake Wales Fire Department is still getting a CPR class setup for anyone who would like to participate.
Flu shots are available at Publix supermarket this week on Wednesday 10-12.
Our sewer situation is critical. NO dishwashing, NO clothes washing, use the porta-potties. If we all do our part, we may not have to evacuate. We are very borderline at the present time concerning evacuation. Cont-sa flow is watching our situation very closely, and they have to report their findings to the county health department.
Until next week, Best Wishes, and God Bless. Anyone having any comments, observations, or email address changes, please contact Bob Trombley at email@example.com, or Russ Sauer at firstname.lastname@example.org,.
