Buster Williamson, of Queen of Waters, passed away last Tuesday morning. Cards may be sent to the family at the northern address in the directory.
Art Schmidt of Beaverkill passed away two weeks ago of leukemia. Cards may be sent to Theresa Sliwinski, his long time companion, at Village of East Harbor, Apt. C301, Chesterfield, MI 48047.
Don Kunke passed away last Wednesday of liver and kidney failure. Cards may be sent to Betty at 1000 Roses, 455 S. Buck Moore Rd., Apt. 51, Lake Wales, 33853.
Lois Finn passed away last week of a heart attack. Cards may be sent to the family at the home of her son Mark at 210 South Collington Ave., Baltimore, MD 21231.
Sickness & Distress:
I goofed in last week's Sunshine Report. Madeline Conway had the staples removed from her back surgery, not heart surgery. (sorry)
Jack Southen will see his doctor October 24th to make sure his heart is strong enough to have surgery. If all is well Jack will have surgery for colon cancer on November 16th.
Beverly Rindt fell while vacationing in St. Augustine. She has a broken nose and multiple facial bruises. Beverly was admitted to a hospital in St. Augustine. As of Saturday she was still in IC. When released she will go to Audrey Holtz's daughter's home in St. Augustine. Cards may be sent to Beverly in card of Lynn Hamel, 117 Marsh Island Circle, St. Augustine, FL 32095.
Don Staples' heart surgery in Ohio went well. Among other things, his aortic valve was replaced for the second time. He should be home in 3-4 days. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
John Voorheis has shingles. He was treated in Orlando on Thursday. Cards may be sent to him at the local address in the directory.
Dan Adkins was released from the hospital last Friday following treatment for fluid on his lungs. He is doing better now. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Roland Morgan is having an MRI this morning. He is still having back and leg pain that his doctors say he shouldn't have since his surgery. They are checking to see if there is anything else wrong. Cards may be sent to Roland at the Missouri address in the directory.
Cathy Beers fell and has a compound fracture of her leg. She is in a trauma center in Lehigh Valley, PA. When Cathy is released from the Center she will go to her daughter's home. The address is: Cathy Beers, c/o Cindy Arico, 2 Musconetcong Ave., Hopstcong, NJ 07843.

Immediately after Koffee Klatch, we are having meetings in the clubhouse to keep everyone informed as to what is happening here in the resort,.
As of now, there will be no service trucks allowed into SLR unless it is an emergency.
The road is washed out and under repair. Could be ready for traffic sometime later this week?
Our sewer situation is critical. NO dishwashing, NO clothes washing, use the porta-potties.

Tomorrow, 10/26 there will be a Survivors dinner at the clubhouse. 4PM, happy hour, 5PM, dinner. Bring your eating implements.
Ginny Lowell announced that Linda Addison wants everyone to know, the Post Office has new hours effective November 12. P.O. will be open 12AM to 2PM commencing as of that date.
Dick Dain in cooperation with the County Health Dept has us set for Flu Shots on Dec 1 at 1PM to 2:30PM in the clubhouse. Also pneumonia shots will be available. Flu Shots will cost $25.00 per shot unless you qualify for Medicare.
Phyllis Seely announced there will be no Square Dancing till at least Jan 1.
