Sickness & Distress:
Janice Todosciuk will be returning home to Michigan where she will have surgery next week. She will have a shunt put in to relief fluid on the brain by a fall. Cards may be sent to her at the northern address in the directory.
Betty Myles said to tell everyone that she was depressed on the particular day Barb Marksbury spoke with her. She is not in a state of depression. Cards are still welcome and should be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Elinore Ganz is back in the Groves following treatment at Lake Wales Hospital for a bladder infection. Cards may be sent to her at the Groves.
Sachiko Rocke has finished her chemo treatments and doing fine. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Cathy Beers will be up north for at least two more months. She will see her doctor this week to see if he will put her foot in a cast. Cards may be sent to her c/o her daughter Cindy Arico, 2 Musconetcong Ave., Hapatcong, NJ 07843.
Win Siegfried is still in the hospital. The stroke has left him without his speech, just guttural sounds. This is most frustrating for Win. Sammie is OK. Cards may be sent to Win c/o their daughter Judy Provost, 7 Cindy Dr., Seekonk, MA 02771, phone 508-336-6879.
Nancy Lambert is recuperating slowly. She's not allowed to travel yet.
Barbara Cram is now back at Savannah Court.
Pete & Lil Arsenaux will be down late. Pete has an eye problem that may require surgery.

This morning, we had a group of kids, who sang a number of songs, named Pizazz, led by Madeline Walton, give a performance. In this writers' opinion, they were great. We collected over $500 to help them defer the costs of their trip to Atlanta, GA.

EMERGENCY: Sewer restrictions are now in place. Please conserve and use the little green houses.
Immediately after Koffee Klatch, Bob Lapsley is giving us an update on the water situation.
Our sewer situation is critical. NO dishwashing, NO clothes washing and use the Porta-Potties, or as we refer to them, the Green Houses.
The Post Office is now open from 10:30 to 11:30AM. Linda Addison will stay longer if the situation warrants it.

Marlene Kopp says the Garden Club has photographic greeting cards available at a cost of $0.80 cents per card, which includes the envelope. Any money received will be used to defer some of the costs of restoring SLR areas to what they were before our flooding situation occurred.
If you are in residence, you need to call the office and make an appointment to get your Bar Codes installed for entrance to SLR.
New SLR Directories are now available from Greta Dain. Cost is $1.00 per copy.
