Janice Todosciuk is to have surgery this week. She will have a shunt put in to relieve fluid on the brain caused by a fall. Cards may be sent to her at the northern address in the directory.
Win Siegfried's speech is improving slowly. Sammie can understand of few more words each day. She said "oh brother" comes through clearly. Win's stroke also affected his swallowing, so he drinks thickened milk with honey and eats pureed food. Sammie thanks all for the prayers and many cards Win has received. Lorraine Kobierecki had a pace maker put in Saturday. She is out of the hospital and still planning on going on a cruise she and Darrell planned many months ago.
Harold Gunzenheiser is to have quadruple bi-pass surgery December 20th. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Both Evelyn and Bobby Elkins are doing poorly. Cards can be given to Mary Lou Underly, Evelyn's sister. She forwards their mail to them.
Kay Matthews had a 2nd mastectomy last week. Cards may be sent to her at the northern address in the directory.
It's good to see Nancy Lambert here at coffee today. Nancy had quite a bad time during and following gall bladder surgery and heart fibrillation.
Cathy Beers' doctor told her she has another 8 weeks to keep the "TV antenna" on her leg. She thanks Saddlebaggers for the many get well cards and also the sympathy cards received upon the death of her brother. Cards may be sent to her c/o Cynthia Arico, 2 Musconetong Ave., Hopatcong, NJ 07843
Joan Holloway wishes to say "thank you" for the many cards received following Tom's death. As soon as she is able to return home, Joan will arrange a memorial service for Tom to be held in the clubhouse.

EMERGENCY: Sewer restrictions are now in place. Please conserve and use the little green houses. Our sewer situation is critical. NO dishwashing, NO clothes washing and use the Porta-Potties, or as we refer to them, the Green Houses. Our President, Mary Jane Gieche, reinforced the sewer restrictions this morning for those new arrivals who have not heard them.
Immediately after Koffee Klatch, Bob Lapsley is giving us an update on the water situation. More information may be found on the Website under Monday/Thursday Update.

Marlene Kopp says the Garden Club has photographic greeting cards available at a cost of $0.80 cents per card, which includes the envelope. Any money received will be used to defer some of the costs of restoring SLR areas to what they were before our flooding situation occurred.
If you are in residence, you need to call the office and make an appointment to get your Bar Codes installed for entrance to SLR.
New SLR Directories are now available from Greta Dain. Cost is $1.00 per copy.
Thursday, December 15, 1:30PM, Kitchen Band will do a Sing-A-Long. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.
