Russ Veeneneaal a renter for 15 years passed away this past week. Cards can be sent to his wife Lillian at West 168th North 11489 El Camino Dr. Germantown, WI 53022.
Howard Dunphey passed away this past week after a lengthy bout with prostate cancer. There will be a viewing at the Sea Winds Funeral Home, 735 Fleming St., Sebastian on Wednesday, December 21st starting at 9:30 AM followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM. There will be reception their home after the service at 7976 101st Street, Vero Beach, FL. See Joyce Angrist or Marilyn Cogswell for more information

Janice Todosciuk's surgery has been postponed until February 2, 2006
Win Siegfried is still in the hospital and not doing very well. Sammie said she doesn't expect he will leave the hospital. Cards may be sent in care of their daughter Judy Provost, 7 Cindy Dr., Seekonk, MA 02771, phone 508-336-6879.
As of Sunday, Bud Miller was still in ICU at Lake Wales Hospital following gall bladder surgery. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Don Johnston had a massive heart attack last Saturday. He also has congestive heart failure. A stent was put in and Don is on medication to keep him still. Cards may be sent to the Ohio address in the directory.
Pat Turner's brother had a stroke in Winter Haven. See Pat for details.
Bob Howell has breathing problems. He had 1.5 quarts of fluid drained from his lungs last week. A broncoscopy was performed as well as a CAT scan to determine the cause and treatment to alleviate the condition. Bob will see his doctor tomorrow, Tuesday. Earl Feltenbarger is home from the hospital. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Erla Broich was hospitalized with blood pressure problems. Kidney trouble was ruled out. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Eunice Chaisson, of Royal Coachman, had a stroke. Cards may be sent to the Canadian address in the directory.
Terry Perigo got his three month CAT/PAT scan results and the cancer is active again. He will have a different type of chemo than he had before. It will be taken once a week with every third week off for a total of 12 weeks. Terry requests we keep him in our prayers, as they help keep him mentally strong. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Opal Fox fell at the screen room and hurt her wrist. She appears to be OK, since she's here today.
Charlie Rochetti had successful eye surgery last week. His is so much better he popped a lens out of his glasses as he no longer needed it to see well.
Al Luchenbill was released from Lake Wales Hospital where he was admitted with atrial fibrillation. Al is feeling much better now and he and Donna left to return to Naples yesterday.

EMERGENCY: Sewer restrictions are now in place. Please conserve and use the little green houses. Our sewer situation is critical. NO dishwashing, NO clothes washing and use the Porta-Potties, or as we refer to them, the Green Houses. Our President, Mary Jane Gieche, reinforced the sewer restrictions this morning for those new arrivals who have not heard them.
Immediately after Koffee Klatch, Bob Lapsley is giving us an update on the water situation. More information may be found on the Website under Monday/Thursday Update.

Marlene Kopp says the Garden Club has photographic note cards available at a cost of $0.80 cents per card, which includes the envelope. Any money received will be used to defer some of the costs of restoring SLR areas to what they were before our flooding situation occurred.
If you are in residence, you need to call the office and make an appointment to get your Bar Codes installed for entrance to SLR.
New SLR Directories are now available from Greta Dain. Cost is $1.00 per copy.

Our Post Office is tentatively scheduled to be closed this next Friday, Saturday, and next Monday. We need the Lake Wales Postmaster to put one of their people out here. It may help if we call 1-800-275-8777 or Lake Wales PO at 678-3573 and explain our problem.
On January 2nd at Koffee Klatch, Virginia Toering and Nancy Tenelshof will give us a performance, to start the New Year on a positive note.
