Deaths: Beatrice Zampieri, a former 17 year Saddlebag resident, passed away December 30thin Vermont following a stroke on December 29th. She would have been 97 years old on January 29th. Cards may be sent to John and Joyce Zampieri at the local address in the directory.
Lynne and Bob Mayhew's son-in-law died Saturday in Michigan. Cards may be sent to Lynne and Bob at the local address in the directory.
Illness: Fran Cox is home from the hospital following gall bladder surgery. John said she is improving daily. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Maryann King has been ill since before Christmas. She is having tests to determine what is wrong and what the course of action will be once a diagnosis is made. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Cheryl Thompson had vascular surgery at Lakeland Regional Hospital. She was released Tuesday January 5th. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Phyllis Calkins had serious lung surgery this past week. She is in Winter Haven Hospital, room 522. Phyllis is doing as well as can be expected and hoping to come home later this week. Her family is here until Wednesday. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Bob Lapsley is home following a four day stay at Lakeland Regional Hospital for complications from his surgery December 15th. He is recovering slowly. No visitors for a while longer as he sleeps a lot. Bob thanks all his Saddlebag friends for the many cards he has received.
