Death: Dorothy Ringle passed away last Monday, January 7th in Michigan. Cards may be sent to her son Robert at the northern address in the directory and to her niece Janice Patton at 2 Stoneflly.
Illness: Greta Dain had her last chemo treatment Sunday. She also received two pints of blood. Greta will have three weeks off followed by seven days of treatment. She said she feels good but is very tired. Cards may still be sent to her in care of her daughter Diane Truxell, 999 Ridgecrest Dr., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221. Lorraine Kobierecki still in Lake Wales Medical following admission last Sunday with great difficulty breathing. She is in room 305. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Madeline Conway is feeling better and is here today.
Orrin Pibbles can get up and walk a bit, but he is not eating much. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Helen and Ed Clark's son Tom has been diagnosed with kidney cancer, the same type of cancer that his brother Bruce had surgery for last September. Since this disease is genetic it was recommended that Tom's children be tested. Cards may be sent to Tom at 51388 Glenwood Trail, Washington,
Rachelle Egan was released from Winter Haven Hospital and is now at Astoria Health and Rehabilitaion, 701 Overlook Drive, Winter Haven, FL 33884. She is in room 721 and may have visitors.
Flo Evenden's daughter is taking her back to her home in NY on Sunday. You may still visit her at the Grove until that time. They will not be back to Saddlebag.
Chuck Seely remains at Lifecare of Winter Haven receiving physical therapy. He expects to be released around the 24th of this month. However that is not an absolute date. Cards, calls and visits are welcome.
Jerry Turner is still at Heart of Florida Hospital. He may possibly have the bladder removed. He is very weak and it is not known when he will be released. Cards may be sent to him there or to the local address in the directory.
Jim Gladwish is still at Lake Wales Hospital. He is being treated for an infection in his jaw. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Leo Michlig is home from the hospital He has a tumor around his pulmonary artery leading the lung and a partially collapsed lung. They are waiting for the lab results and a plan for treatment. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Betty Myles is at the Grace facility, room 201. She expects to be there for about two weeks. Cards and visits are welcome.
