Deaths: Joyce Parker, a former Saddlebag resident, passed away January 14th Caro, Michigan. Cards may be sent to her daughter and son-in-law Lou Ann and Mark Dean of Silversides.
Jim Kopp passed away January 15th. Cards may be sent to the family at Marlene & Jim's address in the directory.
Joan Watts, a Silversides resident, passed away yesterday January 18th in Ann Arbor Michigan. I don't have an address for her daughter or for her husband who is not at the northern address in the directory at this time.
Illness: Ed Burke has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He is getting chemo in preparation for surgery. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Margaret Dillon will remain at Springlake Center for a few more weeks. Her doctor has identified the problem with her legs and will be treating Margaret accordingly. Cards may be sent to the local FL 33881. Margaret is in room 713.
Gordon Terry is now at Grace Healthcare, room 308. Cards may be sent to him there.
Judy Lee is coming home today following rehab at Lifecare. Cards may be sent to the home.
Bonny Reynolds is happy that she does not need open heart surgery. Her doctor has determined that it is not necessary as the valve has been leaking for some time with no ill effects.
Jerry Slane fell and broke his foot. He was transferred from Lake Wales Medical Center to Sebring. His heart has to be stabilized before he has surgery. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Judy Luko will have knee surgery Wednesday at Heart of Florida Hospital. She will be going to a facility for rehab following the surgery.
Bob Exler has gone back north to have surgery. Cards may be sent to the Pennsylvania address in the directory.
