Former resident Myrna Baudais passed away January 19, 2011 in Winnipeg, Canada. Myrna and her late husband shared ownership with Harold and Pat Harper on Saddlebag Trail. Suzanne Murback, Vera's daughter-in-law, passed away January 2, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Cards may be sent to Vera Murback at the local address in the directory.
Barb Park had successful surgery last Monday to remove a malignant spot on her lung. However, Barb wasn't feeling well last Thursday and was taken to a hospital in Green Bay by her daughter. It was determined that Barb has had more than one heart attack. She had surgery Saturday to put a stent in. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Ron Casey, having returned home his own to see his own doctor, has had numerous tests. He will see an oncologist early Tuesday morning. I'll pass on more information as I receive it. Jack Ashley is here today following knee replacement surgery. He is doing very well, although he will still have more physical therapy. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Marion Seile is home from the hospital where she was admitted with fluid buildup in her heart and lungs. Cards may be sent to her at Bob Douskey's address in the directory.
Lavern Hamilton is home following hospitalization for severe pains. It was determined that he has lacerations on his spleen and is not allowed to do any work for eight weeks. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Lynn Larson called to tell me that Chuck is still in ICU at Lake Wales Medical Center. He had been sedated and on a respirator from last Monday until Saturday. The diagnosis was reported as non-congestive form of pneumonia. Cards may be sent to Chuck at the local address in the directory.
Max Blackburn was taken to Lake Wales Medical Center last evening with a fever, chills and dehydration. Cards may be sent to Max at the local address in the directory.
Elsie Johnston wishes to thank all the Saddlebaggers who sent cards on the death of her son Ron, also, Shirley and Don Johnston send their thanks. Ron was Don's brother.
