Avis Robinson, a former Saddlebag resident passed away Friday night, January 22, 2010. Cards may be sent to her sister, Mary Lou Shimp, at the local address in the directory.
Grace Jensen, also a former resident, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010.
Mike Pyne will be coming home from the hospital this Thursday. He is now cancer free! What a fantastic result following weeks of testing and anxiety. Welcome home Mike.
Steve Stinespring is home from Lake Wales Hospital where he was admitted with internal bleeding. It appears that the bleeding has stopped, but Steve is anemic and must now take iron pills. He will see a pulmonary doctor this week as he has trouble breathing. Steve and Sandy thank the many Saddlebaggers for the prayers, cards, visits and phone calls.
Leona Considine is in Lake Wales Hospital, room 225 where she is undergoing tests for an abdominal blockage. She is on IV as she cannot eat or drink anything. Leona will also see a cardiologist.
John Bernasconi is still in a hospital in Canada following successful robotic bi-pass surgery. With this type of surgery the doctors do not have to open the chest cavity. He is on medication for the arrhythmia problem and a pacemaker was installed Cards may be sent to John at P.O. Box 502, Ilderton, Ontario, Canada NOM 2A0.
Margaret Dillon is still in the Lifecare Center of Winter Haven. She is in the Cypress Key wing, room 502 receiving physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Shirley Pacini is home from Lake Wales Hospital. She still has a nasty rash all over her body from a reaction to medication. Cards may be sent to her at the local address in the directory.
Phyllis Boucher is home from the hospital following admission for cellulitis of the throat. She is still on antibiotics and doing well. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Bob Dousky will have colon surgery tomorrow (Tuesday) at Lake Wales Hospital. He will be there for four or five days. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Judy Terry has started radiation treatments. Cards may be sent to her at the local address in the directory.
George and Ellie Shencavitz will be back in Saddlebag this coming Thursday. George has a a bad year and they are happy to be coming “home".
