Bill Gollan went back home to have gall bladder surgery. Cards may be sent to the Canadian address in the directory. Postage is 1.10.
Jan Canankamp is doing very well following shoulder replacement surgery. She must keep the shoulder mobilized for quite a while yet. Cards of encouragement may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Madeline Conway took a nasty fall last week. She is sporting a beautiful multicolored eye and some stitches in her leg. As only Madeline could, she keeps on the move despite it all.
Janet Robinson also fell last Friday morning. She said she would go see Madeline and compare black eyes.
Theresa Kozlusky is doing so much better now that she back home in PA. She is in a rehab center where they took her off two of her medications. As a result the shaking of her hands has stopped and she is able to eat some solid food again. Theresa also walks down the hall there with a walker with someone to help her up to the walker. Opal Fox passed out Friday while waiting (in the sun) to get aboard the kitchen band float. She was taken by ambulance to Lake Wales Medical Center where various tests were taken. Opal expected to be released Sunday and is to see another doctor this week. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Lorraine Kobierecki picked up a bug of some sort on the plane as she flew home from visiting her sister in Arizona. Her doctor prescribed antibiotics but she is still not well. Lorraine is going to call her doctor today to see if he needs to see her again. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Nan Amick will see her doctor Wednesday to get the results of her blood work. Depending on those results should surgery is tentatively scheduled for around the 20th of this month. Cards of encouragement may be sent to the local address in the directory.
It's good to see Cathy Billings here today following her hip surgery. She's doing very well and has been told to walk, walk, walk and walk some more.
Bonnie Reynolds has seen her doctor up north. He told her to take the diuretics faithfully and come back in 2 weeks which is today. She will be evaluated and this doctor will pass on the information to the doctor she will see on Tuesday. Aside from having a nasty cold, she is feeling a little better.
