Jo Dowler will have surgery in Orlando tomorrow, March 16th , for a tumor behind her eye. The growth is on the brain, not in the brain. Clem said they are very optimist about this surgery. Cards may be sent to her at the local address in the directory.
Dale and Cal Calhoon went back home to North Carolina. Cal has prostate cancer and will have radiation treatments every day for eight weeks at a facility in Myrtle Beach. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Sharon Porrett wanted me to report and incident that she thought was rather funny. She was at her parents home and trying to get her dad to exercise. She had seen a stretching exercise on Dr. Oz and proceeded to demonstrate it. It involved laying with your head on the floor with your feet high on a couch. Sharon tried to do it and fell over backwards and landed on her neck. She went to ER with a wrenched neck and a bruised sternum. Sharon is fine, but wants to warn anyone over 60 yrs. old not to try Dr. Oz's excercises!
Please remember our Saddlebag friends with prayers, cards and phone calls.
