Death: Ruth Knapp passed away last Friday. Cards may be sent to Paul at the local address.
Illness: Bruce Redman had successful back surgery Saturday. As soon as he is stabilized Bruce and Diane will return to their northern home. For now cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Elinor Roeschen is still in Lake Wales Medical Center with erratic blood sugar. She is in room 345. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Carol Roeschen is in Lake Wales Medical Center, room 363. She was having fainting spells. The doctors have ruled out a stroke and suggested that she go to Mayo Clinic for additional testing. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Dorothy Bock is back in Lake Wales Medical Center, room 212. She falls quite often due to weakness and may go to a facility for rehab. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Laverne Hamilton is the hospital in Canada in critical condition. Cards may be sent to the Canadian address in the directory. Postage is 85 cents.
Nelson Hood came home last Tuesday. His daughter Louella has moved here to be with him. Nelson would like visitors, but the visits must be kept short. Louella said the best times would be between 12 noon and 4 PM. Nelson is receiving physical and occupational therapy and will start speech therapy soon. He still cannot swallow and has a feeding tube so……if he asks for something to drink he cannot have it. Louella's cell # is 904-886-4811. Cards are always welcome.
John Cox is home and doing very well following his knee surgery. Cards may still be sent to the local address in the directory.
George Shencavitz was admitted to Winter Haven Hospital last week following a heart attack. He is doing OK. Cards may be sent to him at the local address in the directory.
