SADDLEBAG SUNSHINE REPORT
April 5, 2010
Jim Hannon had heart cath on Tuesday which showed a 70% blockage in the heart. He had two stents put in on Friday. Jim will see a doctor today (Monday) to see about a leg bipass. He has 100 % blockage in both legs from the groin to the knee; from the knee to the feet are OK. They will also try to find out when the cancer on the leg and skin graft will be done. Jim needs our prayers. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Jo Dowler is doing much better and said it felt so good to get out yesterday. Cards may still be sent to her at the local address in the directory.
Margaret Dillon is also doing well. Cards may still be sent to her at the local address in the directory.
Judy Matteson tripped and fell in her home and broke one rib and cracked another. She is in a lot of pain and on medication. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
I received an email from Janet Buxton who has been in touch with Virginia Medcalf. Virginia has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease that is progressing fairly rapidly. She has great difficulty talking and suggested that any of her friends who wish to contact her to do so by email as Virginia can write better than she can talk. Unfortunately, I don't have an email address for her, but cards would be greatly appreciated and may be sent to her at 1188 Stonehaven Circle, Boonville, IN 47601. Her phone number there is (812) 897 1544.
Joan Watts will be coming home from Lake Wales Medical Center today (Monday) following admission for pneumonia. She is on antibiotics and was told it take quite a while to fully recuperate. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
I also received an email from Jean Pray saying she found a thank you note from Fritz Snyder posted in the pool room. It read: The Snyder family would like to thank everyone in Saddlebag for being so thoughtful at the time of Loretta's passing.
Please remember our Saddlebag friends with prayers, cards and phone calls.
