Jim Hannon is home from the hospital and doing very well. He had a stent put in his right leg and the blood immediately rushed through to his feet. The cancer spot on his leg was also removed and the wound tightly bound. Both surgeries were very successful. Jim will see his doctor today to check on his leg. Jim has received many cards and phone calls and wishes to thank everyone for their kindness and friendship.
George Lee has cancer throughout his body. The only area not involved are his bones. Hospice is coming in today to speak with the family Prayers are needed for George and Margie. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Max Loudenbeck took ill while driving home to Michigan. He has pneumonia and is in a hospital there. Cards may be sent to the northern address in the directory.
Joan Hartshorn will not be coming to Saddlebag this week as planned. She has been in pain for the past thirty days and cannot bend her knee to her doctor's satisfaction. Joan will be going back to the hospital where the doctors will do what is referred to as “tear tissue manipulation". Scar tissue will be removed. Joan said her doctors figure with two more weeks of therapy she should come along just fine. Cards may be sent to her at 1515 Benton Blvd., Apt. 1418, Pooler, GA 31322.
Ed Angrist was taken to Lake Wales Medical Center following a fall at home. Nothing was broken, but Joyce says he is quite bruised. Cards may be sent to the local address in the directory.
Bill and Grace Gillan wish to thank everyone for the kindness and concern shown them about their daughter Tracy's battle with cancer. She is having a very hard time with the radiation and therapy every day and the family is hoping for a miracle. Bill and Grace hope to be back in Saddlebag in the fall.
