Shirley Bowman, formerly of 36 Saddlebag Trail, passed away last week. Shirley was a member of the Lake Wales Clown Alley and went by the name "Yum Yum." She performed from her wheel chair where she was confined for several years. Cards may be sent to her husband Ray Bowman, also a clown, at P.O. Box 104, Fillmore, NY 14735.
Marion Morrison is feeling much following a fall breaking four ribs at the Pocono Lake Preserve. Marion and Clint plan on visiting their son in Pennsylvania and hope to return to Saddlebag in October. Card sent to the local address will reach her.
Ginger Nichols, daughter of Elinor Roeschen and former Saddlebag resident, fell at work and broke her leg. She suffered a spiral fracture and surgery will be done as soon as the swelling is down. John Larkin is still in the hospital in Cortland, NY. Cards may be sent to him c/o their daughter Joanne Alioi, 3655 Levydale Pk., Cortland, NY, 13045.
Joan Holloway is back in Lake Wales Hospital for observation. She had a kidney removed in August and hasn't been feeling well for the past few weeks. Cards may be sent to the hospital, room 210, or to the local address in the directory.
Nan Skinner has been housebound for quite some time. She misses the events that she and Art attended. Cards sent to the local address in the directory would really be appreciated.
We received a lovely thank you note from Margaret Twining and her family for the many cards and prayers following Don's death. She hopes to return to Saddlebag in October.
